Bruce Becker purchased Cloquet Automotive in 1988. He learned the transmission industry from the previous owner who had been in the transmission business for over 30 years. Bruce expanded his business in July of 2002 by adding on a 2700 square foot addition. Cloquet Automotive continues to grow and currently services about 1400 customers. Bruce takes great pride in the service that he provides to his customers and the community. Even after over 27 years in the automotive industry Bruce still loves coming to work every day!
Eric Dawe

Eric Dawe came to us from Marquette Michigan. He is ASC Certified and has been with Cloquet Automotive for over a year. Eric has over 6 years of automotive repair experience overall and will be attending the University of Minnesota-Duluth this fall to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Eric says he enjoys figuring out what is wrong with the vehicles that our customers bring in and then ultimately, finding a way to fix them. "I learn something new every day, it's very rewarding" says Eric.
Ron Bruneau

Service Technician
Ron has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. He loves working on vehicles and the challenge of learning something new on a daily basis. Ron also enjoys talking to the customers and helping them. Ron says, "I enjoy the satisfaction of fixing something that doesn't work and when I'm done I can see a vehicle in town knowing that I fixed that car and have made someone happy again."
Cissy Otis

Office Manager
Cissy Otis is the newest member of the Cloquet Automotive Team. She comes with several years of customer service and office experience. Cissy has a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management and Communication from Concordia St. Paul and is also a candidate for a Master's degree in the same fields from Concordia St. Paul as well. Although Cissy has several years of experience in the higher education field, this is her first venture into the automotive field. However, she is taking this new challenge in stride, "It's always a bit disconcerting to step out of your comfort zone, but I really am enjoying learning new things".
